Volunteers

We need volunteers to assist the library staff.  You can help in the following areas:

• The Book Sale, which includes sorting and categorizing the books
• Special projects for the library sponsors
• Ongoing work in the library, which includes:
  • checking in books
  • shelving
  • stamping
  • making copies
• Children’s craft activities, which includes:
  • the Summer Reading Program’s weekly craft sessions
  • the Craft Booth at the Dickens on Broadway celebration in December

• Library's involvement in city festivals, like Springfest
• Process new material for the library
• Anything else where support is needed

A non-profit organization, such as the Friends of the Haltom City Public Library, is always in need of donations.  Take donations to the library. You may donate the following:

• DVD’s
• Videos
• Magazines
• Recordings
• Audio books
• Money
